There’s no doubt the GTA V new update will be hunted today, even though rumors are pointing to a December 23 release date for the next DLC. Tuesday, is the traditional day and if the download goes live today it should be GTA V update 1.19 on PS3/Xbox 360 with PS4/XB1 seeing version 1.05.
We have already heard from a number of Product Reviews readers about when the next GTA V update should release. One reader said, “I saw the leaks for DLC and like what’s being rumored, but the claimed date of 23 Dec is too late for me. I think this is too close to Christmas Day, so I just hope we see the 1.19 GTA V update arrive on 16 Dec instead”. Another commenter added, “I will be looking for the new GTA 5 update on December 16th, as you never know and Rockstar do love their Tuesday’s”.
GTA V new update notes clarified – we touched on the 1.19 Vs 1.20 version debate a few days ago, which saw gamers state they had different versions and some even included a screenshot. The confusing part is the fact that our readers backed up some of these claims, although Rockstar offers clarification on their patch notes page.
If you head to this Rockstar Games support page, you will see a list of all patch versions going back months and since the PS4/XB1 launch as well. The latest PS4 and Xbox One version is listed as 1.04, and the latest PS3/XB360 version is listed as 1.18, which is what most of us expected anyway.
The next GTA V update will be version 1.19 and 1.05, of course the latter is for PS4 and Xbox One versions. Will you be checking your game around 10/11AM UK time for what was Rockstar’s traditional update time, or do you expect the new patch to release on December 23rd as rumored?
