GTA V: New release date rumors – Gamers to wait until November?

It has been a while since we last heard any movement on the GTA V release date rumors, but it looks like a few more dates just became more apparent. As always, none of these are confirmed but it does give you a personal heads-up on when the game may be due out.

If you remember back to the first teaser trailer for the game, a big story broke out on how the game may be releasing on May 24 2011, after it was noted that the numbers 2405 were located on a pavement during a particular scene in the trailer. That rumor has still yet to be confirmed or denied obviously, but now we have a few other dates for you to consider.

Big name retailers are also listing dates online for GTA V, with Walmart in particular the biggest to drop a solid date, as taken from GamesMint. According to their product listing for the game which is still up, the game will release on June 1st, 2012. Amazon has withheld their date as of yet, but UK-based retailer Zavvi has put up a release date of November 23rd, 2011 for the game which is interesting.

A lot of gamers are predicting that GTA V won’t release during the early stages of 2012 since Rockstar will be focusing on Max Payne 3 which releases in March. With this in mind, we believe that it will be much more likely to have a late Summer release for GTA V and although it may be seen as a disappointment in some eyes, that November 23rd date may not be too far off from being accurate actually.

Do you offer any suggestions for when Rockstar will release Grand Theft Auto V? Our view is that it wouldn’t be a bad thing if it did release in November, as it gives them longer to work on the game so fans receive the highest quality game possible.
