GTA V Jetpack DLC after code

It has been a GTA V secret for a long time, but finally it looks like we may see light at the end of the tunnel with regards to the highly anticipated GTA V Jetpack mystery that everyone has been trying to solve since release.

If you have been playing GTA V endlessly, you’ll know that there were major rumors suggesting that the GTA V Jetpack was the reward for completing the GTA V Mount Chillad secrets involving UFOs and other strange activity.

To this date, we still haven’t seen evidence of the Jetpack coming to the game, until now that is. A user has looked into the code of the game and revealed that Rockstar has recently inserted some files that specifically reference the Jetpack in GTA V.

We can tell you that Rockstar has made these changes since GTA V 1.12, which is the last and current update for the game which arrived with the Capture Creator content as part of the ongoing Spring updates.

Confirmation of the Jetpack files can be seen below in the video, while if you need some further proof – take a look at some of the code that was uncovered recently for the game:

DRIVEBY_JETPACK // Setting it so you can shoot from the JETPACK just like parachute
[email protected]@@
[email protected]@
[email protected]@
[email protected]@
[email protected]@ // the actual jetpack just like parachute.”

At the moment, there are no details on whether the jetpack is hidden in GTA V at the moment. Considering that Rockstar has put this inside the GTA V 1.12 code though, we can only assume that the GTA V Jetpack will be unlocked via DLC at a later stage.

Perhaps it will come with the GTA V Heists release date, or perhaps Rockstar are planning to launch it as micro-DLC this Summer. Either way, we think it is fantastic that it now looks like Rockstar are giving in to fan demand with the Jetpack.

This looks very real so let us know what you think about it and the method in which you’ll need to unlock the GTA V Jetpack. We hope that Rockstar includes a side task to get the Jetpack, rather than a straight up purchase.
