GTA V imagery shows new characters, jets

We have another treat for GTA V fans now, as the game has been shown off in a preview over in Japan. Rockstar has been very quiet on the game as of late, but we’re pleased to finally bring you some substantial new info on the game, thanks to a reveal in a forthcoming edition of Japanese publication Famitsu.

Some of you may still be watching that amazing GTA V gameplay trailer that Rockstar revealed not too long ago, but now we switch our attention back to some new GTA V eye candy. The game is looking quite simply irresistible each time we see it, with Rockstar probably already having the game of 2013 on their hands.

If you were excited about seeing some jet action in the previous gameplay and character trailers, you’ll be pleased to see that we again have some jet action for you to gaze upon. The full Famitsu preview on GTA V has been captured courtesy of True-Gaming, as you’ll be able to view each page here – simply click on each image to enlarge to your tastes.

You’ll see that one scan in particular is reserved for GTA V vehicles, and we see one interesting image of a jet armed with missiles, appearing to take out another aircraft in the vicinity. In the other scans, you’ll see at least one new character unveiled so far, which as far as we’re aware is the first time being shown.

‘Nervous Ron’ has been identified as an additional character joining the game, and it looks like he’ll have some sort of significant role to play during Michael’s storyline. We also see another character called ‘Lamar’ introduced, but at the moment we’re unsure as to whether this is a brand new character like Nervous Ron, or if this is simply what Franklin will be called in the Japanese version of the game.

Take a look at the revealing scans for yourself and let us know if you have spotted any other new information that we should know about. Hopefully we will see another gameplay trailer from Rockstar soon – the wait is killing us.
