As GTA Online players enjoy the latest update which brought the ‘I’m not a Hipster’ patch to GTA V 1.14, many others are starting to ask questions on the GTA V Heists release date which Rockstar has now failed to deliver by Spring.
As most of you were aware, Rockstar initially teased a massive update for Spring, in which Heists were promised as coming in that timeframe. That was way back on April 2, 2014 and we can remind you of what Rockstar said at the time in case some of you have forgotten:
“Heists: Coming this spring to Grand Theft Auto Online, team up with your most trusted Crew members or with random other mercenaries in Grand Theft Auto Online to pull off cooperative Heist Missions for glory and profit. We know many in the GTA Online community have been looking forward to this update – stay tuned for much more information to come.”
Skip forward to today of course and we have now officially passed the end of Spring and Rockstar has revealed that Heists is still a work in progress. After millions of players were expecting Heists to drop last week, we have seen that some online are starting to wonder if Heists has been delayed on purpose.
Gamers and Rockstar alike know that Heists is the single most requested feature of the game. We also know that Rockstar has been patching GTA Online missions since the game’s launch, in order to it more difficult for players to earn ‘free money’.
When Heists lands, it will surely give players to make the most amount of money in the game in the shortest amount of time and as a result of this – some of the GTA V YouTube community are saying that it could be a conspiracy with Rockstar delaying Heists on purpose, purely to make more money.
This is obviously a bold claim, but with Heists still not out we can see that many gamers don’t know what to think anymore. Watch the video which we have included below that investigates this theory and then let us know your own personal opinions on why you think Heists has taken so long to release.
Do you think it is a bit too late for Heists, now that the hype has somewhat passed after so many delays? Was not meeting the Spring deadline the last straw for you, or are you keeping faith that Rockstar will still deliver the goods as they normally do?
