GTA V Heists PS4, Xbox One release Vs last-gen

As most of you are now well aware, one of the biggest E3 2014 announcements was GTA V for PS4, Xbox One and PC. It was Rockstar’s worst kept secret and perhaps responsible for why a GTA V Heists release date is still not live for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

Now we know that GTA V for PS4, Xbox One and PC is coming though this Fall and it should come with Heists included on the disc. Rockstar has seemingly confirmed this by revealing the following on their website:

“All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations will also be available for the PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One and PC with much more to come.”

Remember that Heists has been promised for Spring on PS3 and Xbox 360 so we’re assuming that this content will be included in the next-gen version once it goes live.

Considering that many players were expecting GTA V Heists this week though, we have already seen some humor from GTA players who are predicting that Heists still won’t be out until the next-gen and PC version is launched.

Of course, this would be a disaster for current players if it really happens, but we are still confident that Rockstar will stick to their promised schedule and release GTA Online Heists next-week right before the official end of Spring 2014.

Take a look at what some users have been saying on Twitter in reaction to the news that GTA V Heists will be coming to next-gen and PC:

What is your reaction to GTA V PS4, Xbox One and PC releases? As a PS3 and Xbox 360 player, will you upgrade or are you still disappointed that Heists is still not out?
