GTA V Heists delayed until 2014

We have some bad news to bring you now, regarding the highly anticipated GTA V Heists release date. Rockstar had initially said that Heists was coming soon shortly after the game’s release in September. However, we can now confirm that actually Heists is planned for 2014 as we feared, with Rockstar choosing to give the next details on Heists in the new year.

Although some of you didn’t want to believe this, we told you that a 2014 release for Heists would be on the cards after Rockstar’s continued silence on the matter. Writing was on the cards after weeks of no information, but at least Rockstar has now decided to come clean on this.

A statement on their website is as follows:

“GTA Online Heists. We know many of you in the GTA Online community are super excited for the debut of co-operative Heists. Heists are currently in development and we are working very hard to get them as polished and as fun as they can be. Stay tuned for much more detail in the New Year.”

Give us your reaction to the bombshell. Did you know this would happen? At least the positive thing about all of this, is that we’re basically weeks away from 2014 landing. If Rockstar can get Heists out in January, then we’re guessing all is forgiven and GTA V online players will be delighted with the outcome.

The worst thing to happen now though is that Rockstar teases a 2014 release, but fails to give a release date and fans end up still waiting for Heists all over again in a few month’s time.

Hopefully it won’t come to that though. Let us know how you see this piece of news – can you accept this delay from Rockstar or not?
