GTA V hands-on suggests Trevor is favorite

Are you counting down the days before GTA V arrives on September 17? Rockstar are preparing for the big launch themselves too, as the famed developer has now given the green light for official previews to go live.

We have one to tell you about now, including a suggestion that Trevor could end up as the firm favorite character of choice compared to Franklin and Michael.

With less than two weeks to go before the highly anticipated game hits the shelves, Rockstar has granted IGN access to publish the world’s first hands-on with the game, allowing the site to preview four missions of the game and share their experiences with the world.

Unsurprisingly, feedback is very positive indeed and it looks like GTA V is firmly going to justify the incredible hype that the game has received since its initial announcement – even with the Spring delay now seemingly forgotten by all.

On more than one occasion, their hands-on mentions how fun Trevor is to play, even going as far to say that they predict that Trevor will become the character of choice to play as, or switch to the most since the game will freely allow character-switching for the first time in the franchise.

GTA V could end up sweeping every single gaming award that there is going in 2013. Should we all just start calling it the GOTY already? We can’t think of one game that could beat it this year.
