GTA V gameplay release time for UK, US timezones

It has been a long time coming but at last we have some great GTA V news for you. Earlier this week we suggested that new Grand Theft Auto V gameplay would be coming at GamesCom 2013. Now it has been confirmed that we won’t even have to wait that long – Rockstar has now sent out word that the first ever GTA V gameplay will be shown later on Tuesday, July 9!

It means that the countdown is definitely on and everyone is finally going to get to see some gameplay with hours. Even more generous, is that Rockstar has already confirmed a set release time for us as well, so we will know exactly the moment the gameplay will be live.

According to a simple message on their website, the first GTA V gameplay will be available at 10am Eastern Time on Tuesday. That means an early 7am wake up for those of you on Pacific Time and 3pm in the afternoon for everyone in the UK. Other countries in Europe will receive the trailer at 4pm local time, while our friends over in Hong Kong will be able to watch the trailer tonight at 10pm.

Just like the previous GTA V trailer 1 and 2, we’re guessing the video will go live on the website at the exact end of the countdown, so you should just be able to refresh the page and it will appear. The big question on everyone’s minds – how long is the trailer going to be and will we just see complete gameplay without any cutscenes this time?

Let’s hope it’s a bit of both. The way Rockstar has sent out the message, it seems to us as if this will be actual GTA V gameplay rather than cutscenes, so this is what we have all been waiting for.

How good are the actual gameplay graphics going to be, after being so impressed with the cutscene graphics quality on Xbox 360 and PS3? Let us know your expectations of the first GTA V gameplay trailer – what do you want to see?
