GTA V full map visualized from scratch

We have a treat for GTA V fans now, as one user has gone to the extreme lengths to recreate a full size GTA V map, based on the official trailer and screenshot material that Rockstar has released to date. We’ve seen it and it is pretty incredible to say the least, especially if it turns out to be close to the real map.

While the world waits for Rockstar to drop the GTA V trailer 3, we just love it when fans take matters into their own hands with amazing creations like this. This isn’t just any old map thrown together at a guess, as the user in question ‘GTAKiwi’ has included a detailed map legend and screenshot sighting so viewers can match up the official images with the map visuals.

The result looks great, even if it doesn’t turn out to be anything like the official version. Since it has been modelled on existing GTA V trailers and screenshots though – there’s a good chance that various sections are spot on. You’ll see the main area for Los Santos and then a large lake and mountain area away from the city.

Only when you zoom in to the specific locations and match them up with the screenshots, will you truly appreciate the effort that GTAKiwi has put into the map. The image you see above is just a teaser obviously, but you can read some additional information from the creator over at GTAForums here.

More importantly, you’ll be able to view full size versions of both parts of the map here and here – don’t miss this. If Rockstar were to see this, we have a feeling they would be pretty impressed too. They may even be feeling a little nervous that someone has managed to create an accurate looking overview of the GTA V map so early.

Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think about it. Have you seen any other amazing custom GTA V material that we should know about?
