It goes without saying that everyone is still looking forward to Rockstar’s now infamous and highly delayed GTA Online Heists release date. The developer last told us that the content was coming ‘Early 2015’, but is there any possibility that they will be ready for release at the end of January?
By saying Early 2015, Rockstar has once again been clever by giving themselves another several months timeframe for when ‘early 2015’ can still apply without fans getting angry again.
We are not sure if it is relevant though, but we have started to notice discussions going on about whether Rockstar now has plans to drop Heists on the same launch date as the PC version.
We already know that GTA V for PC is coming out on January 27, but is that too early to think about a simultaneous release across all platforms? We saw that Rockstar highlighted PC in the last Heists trailer at the end, but that just a heads-up to fans on not to forget about the PC version so to speak?
We would love it if this happens, but given Rockstar’s track record we doubt we’ll be seeing Heists until at least March so Rockstar can make full use of the early 2015 window.
Give us your thoughts on this. January 27 for Heists – too early given Rockstar’s past disappointments, or something potentially exciting to look forward to?
