GreenPois0n Release Date and Time Confirmed – Download Sunday

If you have been awaiting the release of the GreenPois0n jailbreak for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch we have good news for you, apparently things have progressed and Sunday 10th October will be the official release date.

According to a recent Tweet from p0sixninja GreenPois0n will arrive on the 10/10/10 at 10/10am, here is what he tweeted 45 mins ago “Things have progressed to the point where we don’t expect anymore roadblocks. ETA for greenpois0n is 10/10/10 at 10:10:10AM”.

This has also been backed by pod2g, his most recent tweet said “Here is your ETA guys !” he then followed up this tweet by saying “Binary dates for the world ! 101010101010 !!!”.

Finally the Chronic Dev Team retweeted p0sixninja’s tweet, all of this evidence is enough to say that if all goes to plan the GreenPois0n jailbreak will arrive on Sunday at 10.10am GMT.

Obviously there is always a chance that the jailbreak won’t be ready in time, therefore we will have to keep you posted, if you don’t hear anything check out greenpois0n.com on Sunday.

    oh my god finnally i hope it actually works on my ipod touch 2g mc model running 4.1 ios. and i think it will be tethered so its not that good. but its better than nothing.

  • The most anticipated Jailbreak ever has finally been given an ETA….. and the fact they made it in accordance with binary only makes it that much sweeter….maybe for me atleast since i'm a Techy.. Thanks to DevTeam and all for their hard work and perspiration.

    It is England's time zone if I am not mistaken. So 10AM for them is 4AM for Central time/3AM East coast time. Anways nice to know we finally have an ETA. Hopefully this time there is no " last minute problems " like all the other times.

      You got that mixed up. 5 AM Eastern, 4 AM central.

      I guess nobody in here can do math, eh?

      ET = GMT – 5 = 5 am

      CT = GMT – 6 = 4 am

      MT = GMT – 7 = 3 am

      PT = GMT – 8 = 2 am

      Really, it’s not that hard…

      Lol. Did you read the article? It says “GMT”. Grenwich Mean Time. If that is true it will be out at 5 AM Eastern, 2 AM Pacific. Is the Chronic Dev Team British, though, I wonder?

      gmt is zulu plus one hour for aviators or for the mortals its the global time for ireland the united kingdom portugal and france
