Grand Theft Auto IV: Officially the most expensive game ever

It has been reported that Grand Theft Auto IV, released back in April 2008, is officially the world’s most expensive game, costing a cool $100 million to produce. We have the full top ten for you to check out.

As reported from Eurogamer, a list of the top ten most expensive games ever has just been published by the guys over at Digital Battle.

How on earth did it cost so much though? Apparently, the game’s soundtrack accounted for a big chunk of the $100 million, while it is thought that Rockstar had around 1000 people working on the game for over three and a half years.
