It has been a long time coming, but Gran Turismo 5 is finally here — well almost. Sony has officially announced that GT5 will be released on November 24th — that’s two days before Black Friday and just one day before Thanksgiving. Did you know that there are 1031 cars available in the game? Well Eurogamer has listed all of them.
While looking down the final car listing you will see the letter P and S next to each model, these stand for premium car, and standard. All cars are part of the game, and you will not even have to pay extra for them.
For those of you who do not know, standard means that it is a GT4 car and has no cockpit view, which I never do anyway – seeing the drivers hands really puts me off. Premium means that it is a GT5 car, and so comes with a cockpit view — if you like that view that is?
I will not list all 1031 cars, you had best got to Eurogamer for that. However, I did want to look for a few models to see if they were on the list — and they were. Those included the S Bugatti Veyron 16.4 ’09, Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, and the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce, but I could not see the X1 Prototype on the list.
What car are you looking forward to driving the most?
