Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s and Signature Edition Details

Since the Sony PS3 was launched gamers have been waiting for the release of Gran Turismo 5, so it is nice to know that we are getting close to that release date. As a special surprise, we can now tell you that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is to release two limited versions of the ultimate driving sim – Signature Edition and Collector’s Edition.

Both versions will come with a host of special bonuses, but it is the Signature Edition that impresses us the most. The case of the game has been crafted to a high quality and just begs for you to take it in your hands and peer inside. However, the €179.99 price tag in Europe might make you stop and think twice.

Inside you will get a 1:43 scale model of the SLS AMG, a branded USB key, competition entry card and a GT leather wallet. There is also a special book for you to read, ideal while you wait for the game to install or get an insight on how to improve your game.

The Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Edition is not as exclusive as the above version, but still has some little extras compared to the standard version. This will sell for €79.99 in Europe and for that you will get a commemorative #5 slip case.

Electronic Theatre also informs us that those who pre-order one of these limited edition versions of GT5 will receive six cars that will be available within the game. For more details visit Electronic Theatre.
