The GoPro Hero3+ Black Edition is a the new instalment from the Go Pro collection and today we are looking at this product being unboxed for a first look, along with a visual impression of what is contained within the packaging. According to reports some significant changes have been made compared to the previous version, so we are intrigued to know exactly what is on offer.

From the video embedded below this article we get the impression this version is 20% smaller than the previous edition and contains up to 30% more battery life. While the informative video stops just short of 12 minutes this is the ideal way to get a visual perspective of what’s inside the box and other improvements mentioned like the notion that the GoPro Hero3+ is 4 times faster when using the WiFi connection.

The YouTube video comes courtesy of Geekanoids and discusses how much lighter and smaller this is as well as the new SuperView wide angle and auto low light mode which comes with sharper optics. While some may say that the only size reduction here is the waterproof case that has been shrunk to fit the camera more snuggly, others may find this a vast improvement on the previous version.
