Google Voice has been a very useful tool for those who use the service and to improve on this, we have been told that Google Voice transcription accuracy is to get even better. It’s no secret that this part of the service needed to be updated, and so it is finally nice to know this will be happening soon.
When using Google Voice there are times that reading a voicemail can return hilarious results, even though it is not meant to. Don’t get us wrong, this doesn’t happen all the time, but on the occasions it does, you will find the funny side of it.
Google has now launched a new project with one aim in mind, and that is to make voicemail transcriptions far more accurate, although the search engine goliath is asking for your help to make this happen.
All you need to do is proceed to the webpage login for Google Voice and once in you will be asked if you would like to share your voicemail messages, so that Google can take it and learn from them.
If you feel you no longer wish to share your voicemails, then you can turn it off in your settings at any time seeing as though this is an optional setting.
One thing we would say, the more people that allow this, the more accurate voicemail transcriptions will become in the future. We do not know how long it will be before the improvements are made, although there is a chance that it will be a progression, and happen over weeks and months rather than a specific date.
