Google Trends expands searches with real-time data

Google trends is often used by websites to track popular search terms, although this becomes problematic because the results cannot tell you what is hot right now, as they are often behind. However, a new update to the service means that Google trends now offers real-time data, so users get up-to-the-minute results.

Bringing real-time tracking to Google Trends will now become an even better tool for people that track hot search terms, although we can now see a lot more time being taken up because of how in-depth finding the results can be.

You will get the usual tools, such as the country you want to search, and also the category. However, we have noticed that you get more search tools if you want to search for those hottest terms for the United States.

This update now expands your ability to keep more up-to-date with hot topics, so you will be able to learn what team is dominating, or even handier today because of the start of the 2015 US Open.

Have you given the all-new Google trends a test drive yet, if so what do you think of the changes so far?
