Google Prediction API for Fords: Learns your daily routine

Technology today makes life a lot less stressful in some cases and far more manageable with the help of various devices and software. Today we have news of Google’s Predictive API for Ford cars, designed to maximize your fuel efficiency when travelling.

The way it works is by learning users’ routines through frequently visited destinations using its Android automation. It predicts which journey you are about to go on and combines the information with real time traffic data to map the best course.

Though we won’t be seeing the system up and running in any showrooms just yet due to a couple of tweaks needed including location awareness and personal data security, it is reported not to be long before Ford are aiding us with our MPG.

If you’d like to know more about Google’s plans for this system, check out the full article by Michael Gorman at Engadget by clicking the link. There you will also find a full press release.
