Google Nexus One on Sprint: All four carriers

Sprint has officially announced that they are to sell the Google Nexus One smartphone, although they have yet to announce a release date or pricing. This now means that this Android based superphone will soon be available on all four carriers — T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.

Once the Nexus One is made available on Sprint it will have access to America’s largest voice calling of any of the U.S. carriers — offering twice the coverage of AT&T, who currently offer the iPhone 3GS.

This will be the third Android handset available on Sprint, the other two are the Samsung Moment and the HTC Hero — the Nexus One helps to complement the range. Customers will have the choice of purchasing the Nexus One from Sprint retail stores or direct from google.com/phone.

We are not certain what the data plan will be, but we assume that it would be like Palm Pre’s pricing plan. For more details visit Sprint
