Google Nexus One: Netbook rumored to join phone release

While all the talk lately has been on the rumored Google ‘Nexus One’ phone, we have heard fresh rumors that the handset might be releasing along side a Google-branded netbook.

As reported from Apple Insider, the Google Nexus One phone is thought to be releasing sometime in the early part of 2010, while fresh reports state that Google will release a netbook towards the latter part of 2010.

The netbook in question is said to be a ‘low-cost’ affair, with Google already talking to at least one PC maker about building for Google only, with the only specification so far, being ‘Mobile enabled’.

What are your thoughts on a Google-branded netbook? Would you welcome this idea or not? Full article can be seen over at Apple Insider.
