The Google Nexus One phone has been available in the U.S. for a week now, but people around the world are wondering when will they get the chance to own the latest Android handset. The latest information we have is that India will get the handset soon, but not officially.
Google have yet to announce the official release of the Nexus One, but according to Only Kent, there is a website offering the superphone for purchase. We are not certain if this device will lack certain features, mind you the official Nexus One seems to be lacking 3G in the U.S., but that’s another story.
The first Google-branded handset, which runs on Android 2.1, costs RS. 33,241, that works out to $675. Consumers will now face a tough choice, do they pay a little extra and purchase the Nexus One now, or should they wait for Google to launch the device officially?
For those who do make the choice to order the latest Android smartphone in India, then be aware that shipping takes 21-30 days. The price of this phone includes all taxes.
