Google Nexus One: Impressive Speech Recognition

As you probably already know Google are today holding a Google Android press gathering, they are using this press gathering to show off some of the upcoming Nexus One handset’s impressive features.

One of the impressive features showcased today was the handset’s impressive speech recognition functionality, not only was the speech recognition accurate, but the handset seems to integrate the functionality better than any we have seen before.

The impressive recognition is said to be made possible because it is server processed, the server learns your voice from past entries which in the long run improves accuracy.

This functionality is said to allow users to send emails completely via voice recognition, each field will accept voice input, which I can imagine will be very useful for busy users. For more information check out SlashGear’s Live Blog.
