Google Nexus One 3G problems: Are you affected?

Following the release of Google’s Nexus One smartphone, it has been widely reported that the handset is suffering from problems relating to the 3G network.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, T-Mobile USA has also acknowledged the problem and is thought to be investigating the issue along with Google.

The main issue that customers are complaining about is the 3G reception, or lack of in this case, as the phone often drops down to 2G even in good areas.

This has been tested in areas with other handsets, where it showed phones such as the G1 having full signal, compared to the Nexus One, which had a weak signal in the same coverage area.
