Google Maps: BlackBerry v4.0 updated with lots of features

We have some great news for BlackBerry owners now, as Google has just rolled out a huge update for their Google Maps application. The new features within Version 4.0 should make BlackBerry owners a lot happier.

As reported from MobileBurn, one of the key additions, is that you’ll now be able to search locations by voice – perfect for when you are too lazy to type with a keyboard.

Regular users of Google Buzz will be pleased to know that you can also view and update your Buzz profile within Maps, while you can now also synchronise “starred items” between maps.google.com and your PC.

With further tweaks to the Labs feature, this update is a generous one from Google, head to the official blog here for more details and how to install.
