Google I/O: General Motors, Chevy Volt and Google Maps

We have an exciting video to show you now, which reveals some of the amazing integration features using the upcoming Chevy Volt vehicle and a handset running Android and Google Maps.

As reported from Gizmodo, the Android app for the Chevy Volt has been given some hands-on treatment, and luckily for us – we have details on some of the remote features to share with you.

Using the app, you’ll be able to use Google Maps to pinpoint the exact location of the Chevy Volt, while other super cool features allow you to start up the engine of the Volt, and even beep the horn if needed.

The Chevy Volt from General Motors is expected to launch later on this year – with the Android application available soon after.
