Google HTC Nexus One: Is it the ‘real’ iPhone killer?

As many of you well know, a lot of potential ‘iPhone killer’ handsets have come and gone last year, with none of them really being able to stand up alongside the iPhone.

Now that Google’s HTC-built, custom branded Nexus One phone has been officially unveiled to the public, could it finally be the smartphone that offers customers a better ‘all-round’ experience that the iPhone currently offers?

If you’re looking to pick up a Nexus One, it will be priced around $529 sim free, while it will also be available on contract, on T-Mobile and Verizon in the US, and on Vodafone for UK customers.
