For those of you who will be taking your school exams in Israel, you will be pleased to learn that Google Earth will now be used. Students will be able to ditch their often-limited traditional atlas in exchange for this more extensive solution.
Not only that, students will have to use Google Earth in order to pass their exams — it seems that the traditional atlas has finally been suspended in school.
Education Ministry Supervisors Department, Dalia Fanning has said, “Incorporating Google Earth in the final allows students to use interactive maps, observe geological layers and computer animation.” Google Earth Blog has not been able to learn much more information on this interesting story.
We wonder if other countries will use Google Earth as part of its curriculum? Do you think that students should be able to use it, or does this make things much easier for them?
