Google Earth bookmarks with JVC Everio GZ-HM550 HD Camera

JVC never seems to stop developing and releasing new video cameras, this is evident with its new Everio GZ-HM550 HD camcorder. What makes this model different to others in its lineup is the fact that it comes with Bluetooth. To benefit from this new feature users will have to install a free app on their Smartphone — this can be downloaded from the JVC website.

Coated.com mentions that this is not the only cool feature on this high definition video camera, by using the JVC media center application you will be able to create bookmarks for Google Earth — this geo-tags feature allows you to pin-point where you are in the world when recording something.

Slash Gear, who received a press release from JVC tell us that the Everio GZ-HM550 has a 10.6-megapixel CMOS — for Full HD recording. Not only that, you can take still images with its built-in 9-megapixel camera. All this can be stored on its 32GB — this can be expanded with the use of an SD/SDHC card.

The JVC Everio GZ-HM550 is available to purchase now for a price of $799.95.
