We have some good news for those of you with a Mac and prefer Google Chrome to Safari or any other browser on the market. Google has now released a Mac version of Google Chrome Canary, and we have the download link for you below.
For those of you that are unaware, Canary is a test version of Chrome that Google often releases along side their stable version of Chrome. It is designed to give users an early taste of things to come in future versions, and gives users and Google a chance to experience any bugs or problems which will be fixed up for the main version.
It was previously only available for Windows users, but now we’re pleased to say that Mac users can join in on the fun too. If you’re interested in trying out Canary on your Mac, head to Google’s website here to download, as reported from TechCrunch.
Rather than just release one version of Chrome, we think this is an ideal way to stress test the beta version in case any problems arise. The good thing about Canary is that Google allows you to install the stable version of Chrome too, so you can use both versions side by side if you prefer.
There are bound to be a few problems with this Mac release, so consider this your hub for telling us what problems you encounter on the Mac version after installing it.
