Google +1 Experiment: Join in Four Steps

For those looking to join the Google +1 experiment, it is easy to join and takes just four steps. These new features are aimed at making the search process much better and even add a social aspect. There are some that say that this new button that will appear on your search results once opted in is a little like Facebook’s “Like Button.”

It is very easy to join, so the first thing that you need to do is make sure that you are logged into your Google account. The next step is to click on join the experiment here. Then just go to the Google home page and search for something, and then finally you can click the +1 button to say that you love it.

Google’s new service is still in the early stages, but certainly shows true potential, and will give people a better understanding in how we use the world’s best search engine. We could finally see a future where search results are based on recommendations from people instead of algorithms generated by a machine.

Google knows that they have tough competition so have been trying to come up with a number of ways to try and take the fight to them. Google has tried a number of different services to compete with The Social Network, but all attempts have failed. This is not another one of those services, but you cannot help think that they have seen how popular the “Like Button” is and incorporated it in their own way.

Have you joined Google’s new +1 service?
