Golf Shot Distance 1.0: Measure how far you shoot with a free app

Need to monitor the distance you hit your golf ball. Golf Shot Distance 1.0 is a free app that helps you measure how far you shot. This new app available on the iPhone and iPad 3G will give you that much-needed info on your golfing capabilities.

Using the built in GPS, you can easily measure distances in yards and meters with a rapid accurate response to your shot. Simply Dusty Apps announced today that Golf Shot Distance for iOS has just been made available to all you golf fans out there.

There is no need for approximating distances, just amble up to the tee area and press Start to set you are positioning. Once you have smashed the ball up the fairway press End, then you will find the distance has been measured and quickly displayed.

Response time will be relevant to how far you can hit the ball. After a shot measurement has saved, you can still move between the two distances and get an accurate measurement in meters and yards.

Enter a custom name for each golfer to view and save shots for monitoring an average. Save your shot distances to look at after the game. With an upgrade up to 4 golfers can compete with independent shots added up for users, just swipe the name right or left and chose between different golfers.

Also with the upgrade, you can search the list by golfers name in alphabetical order or by distances achieved. For more on availability visit the App Store.
