GoldenEye 007: Release Date on Nintendo Wii Confirmed

We have some good news for those of you planning to pick up the remake to classic N64 title GoldenEye, as Activision has just confirmed a solid release date for the revamp, which will be exclusive to the Nintendo Wii.

We previously told you that the game will be out sometime in November, but as VG247 reports, we now know the exact date will be November 2nd.

If you didn’t know already, GoldenEye 007 on the Wii will feature the voice talents of Daniel Craig and Judi Dench as their respective characters. You’ll also be interested to know that the script writer and composer from the 1995 original film are also back for the remake, so you can rest assured that this game won’t just be a shoddy port from the N64 version.

Is this a day one purchase for you, or do you think this game will ruin the legacy of the original? There are some new screenshots over at VG247.
