Glasgow Commonwealth Games schedule by app

Today is the start of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014, and although the events will not start until tomorrow, the Opening Ceremony is tonight at 8PM in the UK and can be viewed on the BBC, and not ITV as some people had assumed.

Once tonight’s proceedings are out of the way, which is expected to be viewed by 1.5 billion people, it is then that the fun begins, and there are several ways in order to keep up-to-date with the Glasgow Commonwealth Games schedule, two of which is by using the St Joachim’s Android or iOS app.

Both versions of the app was updated last week in preparation for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, as a previous version had one or two issues that needed to be rectified, but from what we can see the app is now ready to take the demands of the millions of people who are expected to download both versions.

The app for the XX Commonwealth Games comes packed with a host of features, one of which is the schedule of events. Finding this information is easy because you can select by event type and then a list of times and dates will be presented to you.

Not only that, there is always a wealth of other information at your disposal, such as the different venues, travel information and the latest Commonwealth Games medals table, which we really do hope the UK standings will be high up on the list.

To find out the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games TV schedule we ask that you visit the BBC website.
