Ghost Recon Future Solider: Release Date delayed till 2011

We have some news for you now, which you’ll probably find a bit disppointing. Despite the game didn’t actually receive a solid release date, we can confirm that the release date for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been pushed back into 2011.

As reported from VG247, Ubisoft has just revealed the news in a fresh call to investors over financials. While you now won’t get a release before Christmas, you should expect the title to drop between January 1st – March 31st next year.

The reason for the delay? A ‘competitive environment’ according to Ubisoft. Isn’t that what companies always say though? Let us know your thoughts on the delay.

The game will still be playable at this year’s E3 event in San Francisco in June.
