If you are a lover of Russian dolls a great new app has just been released for the iPad. My Russian Dolls 1.0 is a unique application that brings to life realistic Matryoshka dolls.
Released by Sydney based PaddleDuck Pty Ltd the app has beautiful 3D graphics as well as authentic Russian sayings. When users click on the app they are met with smiling, dancing Matryoshka. Click once more and the dolls come to life.
General Manager of PaddleDuck Pty Ltd Justine Lange said “We wanted to faithfully replicate beautiful Russian Dolls so we used artists from Russia who are experienced in painting real Matryoshka.” The app is accompanied by an original soundtrack, which was written by a world renowned composer and musician just for the app.
Other features include more than fifty Russian sayings, the option to choose your favorite doll and then interact by tapping or sliding, a range of gestures including: winking, smiling, blowing a kiss, spinning and wiggling, and more.
