Following on from the official unveiling of Gears Of War 3, we are slowly hearing more details trickle out about the game. Latest reports are suggesting that the game will feature a four-player co-op mode. Nice!
As reported from VG247, the news was revealed in an unlikely source within IRC chat. Epic’s Rod Fergusson was speaking about the game, adding that Gears of War 3 is set 18 months after the events of Gears 2.
A poster on the official Epic Forums had this to say: “Rod confirmed four-player co-op in the Gears IRC, with four unique characters.”
While Single and Multiplayer is good, Co-Op modes are always the most enjoyable with friends – you have to agree with me here.
It will be great news if the 4-player co-op reveal is true – hopefully Epic will confirm this for us today. Let us know your thoughts on the news.
