Earlier today we posted an article which stated that sources were suggesting a Gears of War 3 release date, It has now been around 15 months since the release of Gears of War 2 on the Xbox 360, therefore you would think that Gears of War 3 release information would be known by now, however all we have to go on are rumors.
The latest rumors suggest that Gears of War 3 will launch on the Xbox 360 in April 2011, this news originally emerged on Edge, apparently sources have also suggested that a trailer will be launched on April 8th (2009 I guess).
Edge’s source suggests that Microsoft and Epic Games do not want their game to clash with Halo: Reach or Project Natal, perhaps we will see Gears of War 3 revealed at E3 2010, however it seems strange that a “trusted US publishing source” has revealed this, however this source is not named.
Do you think that reporters should report news without naming their ‘reliable source’?
