Gears of War 3: Beta Gameplay Walkthrough and Release Date Reminder

We have a real treat for Gears of War fans now as we have a new gameplay video from the upcoming Gears of War 3 beta to show you. However, this one is fairly special, as the video features a walkthrough commentary by none other than Epic’s executive producer Rod Fergusson.

For those of you that are unaware, the beta is due out on April 25th, while the full game is releasing exclusively on the Xbox 360 on September 20. As we told you in our beta information update post, you can get into the beta with a key from Bulletstorm, or via another route which Epic hasn’t announced yet.

As for the video, it’s a real beauty if you haven’t seen the beta in action yet. Not sure what we make of the over the top commentary from Fergusson, but the video is awesome regardless. We see the new cover mode in action, the gold retro lancer which is an unlockable in the full game, new weapons and of course new enemies.

We think most of you will agree that the graphics are looking top notch, and an obvious step up from Gears of War 2. It’s looking like a must buy for any Xbox 360 owner, check it out below courtesy of Gamespot and let us know your thoughts on the game.

Do you have a key for the beta?
