Gameloft Brings Green Farm Facebook Game to iOS

If you own an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad and you’re already familiar with Gameloft’s Green Farm, then you’ll be pleased to know that the developer has now brought its FarmVille-esque Facebook game to iOS and the app is now available to download for free from the Apple App Store.

According to a recent article by Anthony Usher, those of you that already play the farming game on Facebook, will be able to log into their existing farm and continue from there. However, newbies will unfortunately have to start from scratch, raising livestock, trees and crops.

The Green Farm game features a variety of purchasable seeds, buildings and animals that players can use to customize their farms. It also comes with a number of organic plants and renewable energy resources, such as electric windmills and solar panels.

Green Farm also enables its players to visit their friends’ farms and play mini-games, specialize in areas such as carpentry and gardening or even create homemade treats such as apple juice. The developer has promised that there will be frequent updates available for the Green Farm game.

We’ve embedded a video below this post, so you can check out the Green Farm game for yourself. You can learn more about the game via the website. Are you already an existing Green Farm player?
