Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop update within weeks

We told you that Google plans to launch Android 5.0 Lollipop on November 3 for the Nexus 5, Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 and 10 tablets. However, now we have some great information for those that are patiently waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop update download.

We all know that Samsung loves to utilize their own Touch Wiz UI, but with the arrival of Android 5.0 Lollipop with Material Design, Samsung owners are excited to see what touches Samsung can add to the formula.

Now, we can tell you that the Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 download is going to be available sometime in December. This is according to sources close to SamMobile who are going on record to say that this is confirmed information.

Unfortunately, we don’t an exact date for when the download will begin, but confirmation that it’s coming in December should be the early Christmas present that will make a lot of Galaxy S5 owners very happy indeed.

When the update finally arrives, you’ll be able to enjoy features such as brand new animations, a enhanced notifications system from the lock screen, a redesigned App Switcher which looks fantastic, multiple user profiles and much more.

Simply put, it’s a lot more exciting than Kitkat thanks to Material Design and now you know it’s coming in December. With this in mind, you should resist the temptation to download Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop ROMs that you may discover until then.

How excited are you about Lollipop, compared to Kitkat?
