Galaxy S3 release tipped for March

While the iPhone 5 rumors have been a little quiet the last few days rival Samsung have been grabbing all the headlines. There has been the news of the Galaxy Advance that has appeared with even some carriers already committing to the device. But it has been the company’s flagship smartphone that has been receiving conflicting reports, as the Galaxy S3 release is now tipped for March.

Earlier today we had reports that the handset could be coming along with the London Olympics, and now Unwired View are reporting that according to MobileCowboys the Galaxy S III will be released on March 13th. The source is claiming to have seen a list of upcoming devices from Samsung and the S3 is listed for Turkey.

If this is true you would have thought the release would also be for the rest of Europe as well. It could also mean the handset may still be revealed towards the end of next month at MWC, even though previous reports have suggested otherwise. Some may feel that releasing the device shortly after announcing it as a bit farfetched, but Apple manages to do it with the iPhone.

The source also mentions two other handsets as well, the Galaxy Note S and the Galaxy S II Plus, which are given a November or December release timeframe. Whether there is any need for a Galaxy SII Plus remains to be seen considering the recently announced Galaxy S Advance. This comes after the Galaxy S3 seemingly appeared on an official Samsung website.

Do you think the Galaxy S III will launch in March?
