Samsung is having great success with the Galaxy S6 since its release date, although we have a feeling many of you have been holding out for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 release. However, there is also a great deal of excitement surrounding the iPhone 6S because while it will not be a major design change like with saw with the current iPhone 6 model, there will be a few hardware changes, and possibly a redesigned home button.
We do not yet know the Galaxy Note 5 release date or the iPhone 6S release time, although we do know the latter will be in September and the former around the same time, seeing as though there have been reports that Samsung could bring its release forward. However, this is based on mere speculation at this time.
The Galaxy Note 5 Vs iPhone 6S battle will be pretty much the same as we have seen over the years with recent models, although we know that Apple closed the gap since releasing its larger iPhone model. Samsung will up its game this year with its Note 5, especially after seeing the huge mistake HTC made with its M9 handset. However, Apple could struggle because this year will only see the release of its S model — which we know is never a huge upgrade.
Looking at recent Galaxy Note 5 and iPhone 6S rumors we could still be in for an exciting time, as Samsung looks to improve on the Galaxy S6 and Apple on the current iPhone.
The most recent speculated Galaxy Note 5 specs suggest this upcoming handset could feature an auto-eject stylus, which means it could have a flush fit. Samsung has hinted that its very own Exynos 7422 chipset could be used, along with 4GB of RAM, and a 2K screen — so not 4K like most people had assumed.
There have also been rumors of a 21 or 18-megapixel camera, although Samsung could stick with the current 16MP, which is what they did with the S6. We have also seen some wild rumors of a 128GB storage option, but we exepct a maximum of 32GB. As for battery, we expect to see either a 4000mAh or 4,100mAh used.
A major feature of the iPhone 6S specs is expected to be a Force Touch display, and if this was the case, then we could expect to see a very high demand for this model. Screen sizes will remain the same, and as for the rumored iPhone 6C model, the jury is still out. We suspect the iPhone 6S camera will get bumped up to 12-megapixel, along with an improved microphone to offer better video recording results. There are also Touch ID improvements planned to make Apple Pay even better.
Do you think the battle between these upcoming handsets will come down to their hardware, or more so with a mix of that and its OS? We know that the new 2015 iPhone will come with iOS 9, but we are not certain what version of Android Samsung’s upcoming Note phablet will get.
