Galaxy Note 3 vs. Sony Xperia Z1 specs, first look

Some of you will be thinking we have lost control of our senses by comparing the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to the Sony Xperia Z1 specs because the former has a 5.7-inch screen and the latter a 5-inch display. However, it is worth remembering that some of you will be looking at the possibility to move from a smartphone to a phablet, and so will wish to compare two of the latest handsets coming to the market.

Both of these handsets were announced last week and offer some of the highest specs in the market at this moment. So how do these compare and what are the key differences between the two, well the first video helps to answer these very questions for you.

In terms of dimensions the Z1 is smaller than the Note 3, although it is slightly thicker. You will notice that the Note 3 is not massively bigger, but this is rather impressive when you consider it has a 0.7-inch larger screen, this is thanks to the rather thin bezel.

Both offer a Full 1080p display with the Note 3 ppi being 386 and the Z1 being higher at 441, although this is because it has that smaller screen. This means images and text will look sharper on Sony’s latest Xepria handset

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 13-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM and improved multitasking, compared to the Sony Xperia Z1 with its 20.7-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM as well as it being water and dust resistant.

Keep watching the video for more details on these two handsets, such as other specs and its overall build and design.

In the second video you get to see a quick hands-on with side-by-side views, and although it is not in English, it is great for a visual look.
