In the next few weeks the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Apple iPhone 5S are expected to meet their release date, although both handsets have not been confirmed with official specs just yet. This hasn’t stopped comparisons landing on blogs aiming to show how both devices look side-by-side even though they are very different.
We understand some Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs. iPhone 5S comparisons look at specific points like the launch date and price. Both of these factors might play a part in choosing a new phone, but why would a consumer want to choose between the iPhone 5S and Galaxy Note 3 when their screen size will differ strikingly?
If most of us look for a new smartphone by display size, mobile OS or brand first then a Galaxy Note 3 vs. iPhone 5S article looking at even specs becomes useless. This is why we see hundreds of these comparisons each week and they are met with comments revealing bewilderment.
One commenter said, “why are we comparing the new iPhone 5S and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, one will likely have a 4-inch display and the other almost 6-inches. I would imagine you would be shopping for a phone or phablet”. This type of reaction is common and it isn’t the first time we have seen it.
The main reason you might see the iPhone 5S and very different Samsung Galaxy Note 3 compared is thanks to both having a possible release date in September. The launch events for both these phones will be within the next 8 days as well, if rumors are correct, so with this in mind it’s understandable.
Are you looking for details on the Galaxy Note 3 vs. iPhone 5S? Or do you find such a comparison strange, and the blogs comparing are missing what consumers really want?
If you love Samsung, Android or big display phones with the latest technology then it has to be the Galaxy Note 3. If you already own an iPhone and love it, then why would you want anything other than an iPhone 5S or 5C, also if you love iOS then it is an easy choice.
These reasons alone are enough to separate the two devices and make comparing Galaxy Note 3 vs. iPhone 5S a very strange idea. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
Within the last couple of days we noticed a leak revealing the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 UK release date thanks to a listing in Three’s system. This image seen in an earlier article was thought to be fake by some of Product Reviews readers and on social networks, but a lot of technology blogs believe it to be real.
If the Three UK listing is correct then it means a September 16th release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. We are yet to see evidence of a launch date in the USA, but considering we are two days away from the expected event we should see official details at that point.
Would you prefer the iPhone 5S or Samsung Galaxy Note 3 based on the rumors you’ve seen? Hit the comments with your preference and the reason for your choice, also detail the handset you currently own and might be upgrading from.
Verizon has signaled the iPhone 5S release date by blocking holiday bookings along with AT&T. This happens every year and is one of the best indications of a launch window for Apple’s phone.
