We have some good news for those of you with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 model. Samsung has made a lot of tablet owners happy over the weekend, with a Galaxy Note 10.1 Android 4.4.2 update in Germany.
It has been a long time coming but Samsung are finally coming good with Kitkat updates for all models of their popular Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. This time, it is the Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 model’s moment to shine as consumers in Germany should be receiving over the air notifications to update to the latest version of Android.
If successful, the model should be running on a newer firmware of N8000XXUDNE4. Those who have the correct model can also push the update manually by either heading to device settings, or connecting the Galaxy Note 10.1 up to Samsung Kies and doing it that way.
With Germany now crossed off the list, it paves the way for Samsung to continue providing the Galaxy Note 10.1 Kitkat update in other regions.
For those that have the correct model number, let us know if you have already received an official notification to update to Kitkat on your tablet. Is anyone still waiting for the rollout to start?
For consumers outside of Germany, which country are you in and are you hopeful of Samsung providing the update to you next? – For example, the Galaxy Note N8013 model?
