Since the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was first revealed there has been many different rumors regarding the devices availability. It was once supposed to be coming out on November 10th, but more recently it has been suggested it may now not happen until early December. Now we have news that the Galaxy Nexus release date may beat Black Friday after all.
Only yesterday a rumored Verizon roadmap suggested the device would not be out before November 28th, which was disappointing for many who want the device. But now the guys over at Android Central have got hold of an image that may shed some more light on the availability of the handset.
It states that the Galaxy Nexus will be available in stores and online on November 17th, which just so happens falls in line with the release date set for the UK. The image also shows instructions to employees not to use promotional items before November 15th.
The source that provided the image said it’s a work in progress before it gets sent out to Verizon stores, and is reportedly being sent out next week alongside all the promotional items for the handset such as posters and flyers. There has even been talk recently that the device could be finding its way onto other carriers in the near future, and not remain an exclusive Verizon handset.
Many consumers are showing an interest in the Galaxy Nexus as it will come with Androids Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed. We will hopefully find out more in the coming days as we are only two weeks away from the device coming out in other parts of the world.
Will you be getting the Galaxy Nexus?
