Fully-functioning Iron Man prosthetic arm costs $350

It’s always nice to see a child smile, and even more so when that child had to have part of him arm removed at a young age. Some people often wonder how brave these kids can be, but with technology being how it is, the loss of a limb is nothing like it used to be, although it is still tough.

So many kids look up to Iron Man because he is such a cool superhero, and so we just loved the video below that sees Tony Stark visit a young kid to hand over a fully functioning Iron Man prosthetic arm. What is even more surprising is that this 3D-printed arm only costs $350 to make, although sure it will cost more to sell.

Having said that, with a charity organization behind it, this will no doubt be free to the child that needs one. You will see in the video that the arm is fully wired and is able to move, such and the hand opening and closing.

The Iron Man arm was created by Limbitless Solutions, who asked for help from Robert Downey Jr. to present the arm to the kid that had part of his arm removed, and it is a very touching moment.

What we find amazing about this arm is that it only costs $350 to make, which is a far cry from some of those other prosthetics that costs a small fortune, yet children outgrow them quickly.

If you would like to learn more about this charity organization, or if you would like to donate, then you can do so by heading over to the Limbitless Solutions website.
