Frugl iPhone app for events in London

Frugl is an iPhone app for events in London and it aims to help Londoners find both low cost and free events. We had a quick play, and found the app really easy to use with needed features being included like directions to the event, a way to buy tickets, and pretty much all you need to know about the event with a few taps.

The apps developer contacted Product Reviews and this is what Suzanne Noble had to say, “The app works by curating content from multiple sources including Facebook and Eventbrite to showcase a large range of events ranging from live music to comedy, nightclubs, art installations, sample sales, all either free or £10 and under. Events are presented as Free or Cheap. The Frugl What’s Hot features the top events of the day as chosen by the Frugl team while the Explore page shows the user events near them or London’s top Going Out areas”.

Frugl released back in March, but has since received an update to version 2.0.3 with bug fixes and new features. You can read more about that update, the features, and download the free application on iTunes. Since the app released, they’ve won a stand at Internet World, been chosen to be part of the Start Ups World Cup, and have been shortlisted for a Mobile and App Design Award.

Would you use Frugl to find events in London? We’ve included a few screenshots on this page to give you a quick visual look at inside the Frugl iPhone app. Personally, during our quick glimpse of inside the app it is clear that the design is professional, contains a simple to use UI, and has great branding with buttons like Frugl it!
