Fresh 2014 C7 Corvette Grand Sport eye candy

It may not be the most beautiful looking car or the most powerful, but there is no denying that the 2014 Corvette C7 Stingray has gained the most attention so far this year. We have already seen the car debut at a recent auto show, and the convertible version will be unveiled in Geneva next month, but it seems as though Chevrolet has something else up their sleeves.

We are talking about the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport because there is a leaked photo of a yellow version of the C7 with a gray stripe running along the hood. Now you may wonder what the big deal is and could just be one of the many colors available. However, our recent review of the C7 Corvette Stingray colorizer tool showed no option for a gray or any other color stripe.

If these leaked images from Autoblog are that of the Grand Sport model, then this shows that the team is a lot further ahead than we assumed because they are clearly in the testing stage — if this image is what it seems. Looking closely at the image we cannot see any noticeable differences, but then it could be all the oily bits that have seen several upgrades.

There does seem to be some criticism of the standard C7 model, as several of our readers seem to agree that it’s just an overlay of the C6. However, not all agree with this and we all know that it’s more than just looks because the car has had several upgrades beneath the skin, and a review of the 2014 Corvette Stingray specs HERE is certainly proof of that.

For those of you who are still undecided then we thought several 2014 Corvette Stingray video reviews might help. We thought we would also throw in another video that shows what the new Stingray looks like in grand Turismo 5.
